Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone interested in understanding data protection. It is especially relevant for atingi partners who create or manage online courses. If you work with learner data on the atingi platform, this course will help you understand your responsibilities and use the LMS in a way that aligns with applicable data protection regulations.
What will you learn?
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Describe the basic concepts of data protection and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- Explain what personal data is and how it can be directly or indirectly identified
- Apply the principles of privacy by design in everyday digital activities
- Recognise common risks in digital environments – including social media, browsers, and learning platforms
- Take practical steps to protect personal data and use online tools more securely
